Operation Happy Note

Allison was honored to support the military focused organization Operation Happy Note through song.  Operation Happy Note is a volunteer nonprofit organization whose mission is to send musical instruments to deployed service men and women around the world. 

In 2005, the founders of Operation Happy Note, Steve and Barb Baker’s son was deployed to Iraq. They sent him a guitar to help him deal with his daily stress. Not before long, his friends also requested instruments. More requests followed, and Steve and Barb knew a charitable organization was needed in order to continue the efforts of sending the joy of music to service men and women overseas.
 
"Their mission resonated with me, and I became a Celebrity Spokesperson for the organization because musical instruments are an important part of life. An instrument allows for emotional release and free expression. I donated my song, "STAND", which became an anthem for the organization. Thanks to the generous support of Captain D’s Seafood, a CD single was produced and shipped along with the donated instruments to our troops overseas". -Allison
